Objects of Art is thrilled to present a special talk, Through a Lens Brightly: Shooting Past Woodstock, taking place at this year’s show (Aug. 8 -11 at El Museo).

On Saturday, Aug. 10 at 1pm, author Dain Dunston of J. Compton Gallery will host an intimate conversation with Baron Wolman, Rolling Stone Magazine’s first Chief Photographer, and John Morris, the Woodstock Festival’s Head of Production. Illustrated by Mr. Wolman’s iconic rock photography, the two will share their experience of the “three days of peace & music” at Woodstock, as well as their their personal stories about rock legends Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, The Grateful Dead, The Jefferson Airplane, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and many more.
