In Defense of Memory is a performing-political education practicum for Black, mestizo, and Native musicians locating common ground through examining the history and organizing strategies of the Pueblo Revolt of 1680.
Featured musicians are Laura Ortman, violin (White Mountain Apache: Brooklyn, NY), Carlos Santistevan, contrabass (High Mayhem: Santa Fe, NM), and Marshall Trammell, percussion (Music Research Strategies: Kansas City, MO).
