FREE Public Workshop –
Rose Pruning Workshop for High Desert Rose Gardening

April 11th – 9am – 11am (Tuesday)
April 29th – 10am- Noon (Saturday)

Presented by Katherine O’Brien – President of the Santa Fe Rose Society

Come join us for free instruction and training on proper rose pruning for maximum bloom and health for this area! We will meet at the Railyard Park Community Room for initial instruction and discussion then head out to the beautiful Rose Ramada in the Park to get some individualized and hands-on practice.

We will be training on actual roses in the Park – so dress accordingly (closed-toe shoes, hat, sunglasses, water, clothes you can get dirty, etc.) We will provide gloves and will have tools to train with. If you have your own pruners, clippers and gloves, please bring them.

Meet at the Railyard Park Community Room, behind SITE Santa Fe. Free parking for the duration of the workshop will be available for those that sign in.

There’s no volunteer commitment, but we’d love you to utilize your newfound skills in the Railyard Park someday, too!

Please RSVP if possible and contact Christy, the Program Coordinator for more info: christy@railyardpark.org  /  505.316.3596
